The MAcc allowed me to:

Develop bonds that will last a lifetime. I was also able to get a position the semester after graduation grading papers and assignments that helped me keep up with technical knowledge and give back to the School.

How did the Schulich Career Development Centre help you:

The Career Development Centre was very helpful in organizing and informing our class about recruiting events. Diana Caradona (Advisor) helped me a lot during the recruiting season. She did a great job in orienting me and providing essential tips to land a career.

One suggestion for someone interested in taking the MAcc:

To get the most out of the clubs and services that the School offers. At times we get caught up with school work to the extent that we forget everything else that’s available. Schulich has a partnership with the engineering school at York and some Toronto entrepreneurs to help startups which has been instrumental for me as I embark on my entrepreneurial journey.

  • Beyond the classroom

    During my MAcc I…

    • took part in Schulympics with fellow MAcc and graduate students going for a weekend retreat in cottage country;
    • frequently attended program socials and pub nights after class building strong bonds with classmates; and
    • organized various athletic get-togethers with peers playing racquetball, basketball or going to the gym

“I connected with a group of friends with whom I would study for exams and work on projects. It was their support that helped me make the most out of those times and turned study sessions into hangouts.”
