Michael Krasic

For the past eight years, Michael worked at a boutique realty advisory/development firm in Hamilton, Ontario, where he held various progressive roles and responsibilities, including his most recent role as Capital Manager.  In this position, he was tasked with overseeing the debt and equity investments of the organization, while remaining active on commercial development projects.  His responsibilities included mortgage financing, property acquisitions and project management.

The MREI program offered an opportunity to broaden his understanding of urban real estate. The range of courses – with an emphasis on leadership, quality professors and the reputation of Schulich itself were all driving forces in this decision.  Michael intends to grow as an industry leader by continuing to develop his skill set while managing exciting urban projects.

In his community, Michael serves on the Board of Directors for the Canadian-Croatian Chamber of Commerce.  He is also a lifetime member of the Croatian Sports and Community Centre of Hamilton, where he served on the Board of Directors as V.P. Business Management and Treasurer for five years.

Michael holds a Bachelor of Business Administration (B.B.A.) from Brock University in St. Catharines, Canada, as well as a Certificate in Real Property Valuation from the University of British Columbia in Vancouver, Canada.
