Pre-Arrival Checklist

Make sure you have a study permit (mandatory). You will also be issued a temporary resident visa (TRV) or electronic travel authorization (eTA) as applicable.
- Secure Accommodations (apply for graduate student housing)
- Sign up for the Graduate Business Council’s Buddy Program
- Learn about Health Insurance
- Register and plan to arrive for New to Canada Orientation! Select your program below for registration details:

Arrival Checklist
- Take a taxi or public transit from the airport
- Check into your accommodation
- Contact your Schulich Buddy
- Go shopping for food and living essentials
- Attend your New to Canada Orientation
