One thing that attracted me to Schulich:
The professors’ level of combined thought leadership and experience. Schulich faculty have in-depth practical and academic experience in their industry. As a result, I was able to learn both theory and real world skills.
One skill that I admire in a business leader:
Collaboration and team work. The ability to lead a group with a diverse background is critical.
One Schulich experience that made an impact:
Serving as Corporate Director for the MBA Games while I was on exchange in Tokyo gave me a great lesson in negotiating partnerships remotely, which has helped me grow professionally.
One thing you might not know about me:
I am a car aficionado. My friends and family call me all the time to discuss their cars or ask my advice about ones they’re buying.

Schulich’s alumni network is a graduate’s biggest resource. In my current role I work with so many different businesses, and no matter what the industry, a Schulich grad is working in it. I am always able to reach out to them for insight.
How I balanced work and school full-time:
Within two months of starting my MBA I began working at Toyota. The professors and student groups that I worked with at Schulich were really supportive and accommodated my busy schedule.
A piece of advice to students considering an MBA:
An MBA is a great way to develop your skill set, hone your craft as a leader and challenge yourself.

- Learned to build key partnerships and landed a major corporate sponsor as Corporate Director for the MBA Games Committee.
